Only the highest quality hair is used for our rehairs. A general clean of your bow is included in the cost of a rehair.

If you need a new face for your violin, viola or cello bow, it’s best we see your bow to give you an accurate estimate. The cost can fluctuate depending on the current condition of the head of your bow and what material we’ll use when we replace the face.

If your thumb leather has worn out or becomes loose, we’d recommend changing it to help maintain comfort, grip and to protect the stick.

Starting at £75
The price of lapping/winding depends on the material and style that is chosen. Have a read of our lapping guide to see what might be best fit for you.

Free of charge
Not quite sure what service your bow might need or if your bow is worth having work done? Then you’ll probably want us to assess your bow. This is completely free and can be done on the spot with a booked-in-advance appointment.
